Central American and Caribbean Games 1966
The 10th Central American and Caribbean Games took place from June 11th to 25th, 1966 in the Puerto Rican capital of San Juan . Mexico was the most successful nation with 38 gold medals ahead of Cuba , whose athletes won gold 35 times.

18 countries with a total of 1689 athletes took part in the Central America and Caribbean Games. The US Virgin Islands made their debut.
