Central American Games 1935
The 3rd Central American Games took place from March 16 to April 5, 1935 in San Salvador , the capital of El Salvador . The most successful nation was Mexico with 37 gold medals ahead of Cuba with 31 gold medals. For the first time, women's competitions (swimming and basketball) were held.

Nine countries with a total of 741 athletes took part in the Central American Games. Nicaragua was there for the first time.
