Nuno Filipe Vasconcelos Viveiros (born June 22, 1983 in Machico ) is a Portuguese football player . The midfielder has been under contract with União Madeira in the Portuguese Segunda Liga since summer 2016 .

Career

Viveiros' career began at Nacional Funchal , where he joined the first team squad in 2001. In order to collect match practice, he was loaned for a year to his hometown club AD Camacha in the summer of 2002 , who at the time played in the Portuguese third division, the Segunda Divisão . When he returned after a year, he came to his first league game for Nacional in the first half of the 2003/04 season , but was not considered beyond that. As a result, he was loaned to AD Camacha again for six months in early 2004. In the 2004/05 season he was mostly on the bench at Nacional or came on as a substitute. His situation did not change in the following season either. Viveiros moved to Skoda Xanthi in the Greek Super League in summer 2006 . There he was unable to assert himself and only came up with four missions.

In early 2007 Viveiros returned to Portugal, where first division club CF Estrela Amadora signed him. There he stood in the second half often in the starting lineup, had in the 2007/08 season but again with the role as reserve player content. In the summer of 2008 Politehnica Iași brought him to the Romanian League 1 . There he became a regular midfielder in the 2008/09 season and secured himself to remain in the class with his new club. In the following season he lost his status and only got an irregular turn. At the end of the season, his club had to relegate and league rival FC Brașov secured his services in the summer of 2010. At first, oscillating between the regular seat and the substitute bench, Viveiros secured a permanent place in the team during the 2011/12 season . With his club he played in the league against relegation.

In the summer of 2013, Viveiros moved within League 1 to FC Vaslui . In the 2013/14 season he could not intervene with his club in the fight for the European Cup places. At the end of the season, FC Vaslui was refused admission to the following season, so Viveiros had to terminate his contract in May 2014. In July 2014 he joined Universitatea Cluj , but had to relegate his new club at the end of the 2014/15 season . He then joined CSMS Iași . In the summer of 2016 he returned to Madeira, where second division União Madeira signed him.
