Benedikt Paulun (* 1990 in Pfaffenhofen an der Ilm ) is a German actor .

Life

Benedikt Paulun grew up in Völklingen and made his first theater experiences from 2010 to 2012 at the Theater Überzwerg . From 2012 to 2016 he studied acting at the Conservatory Vienna Private University (since November 2015 Music and Art Private University of the City of Vienna ), he received role lessons from Markus Meyer and Katharina Stemberger , among others, and lessons in camera acting from Susi Stach .

In 2014 he was Bill Kingsley in Don't call me Ismael at the Vienna Theater of Youth in a production by Stefan Berendt. As part of the 2015 Nestroy Theater Prize , he was honored as the best young actor for his portrayal of Max in Freak , directed by Sandra Cervik at the Theater der Jugend .

In February 2016 he took part in the world premiere of Peter Handke's Die Unschuldigen, Me and the Unknown, on the edge of Landstrasse at the Vienna Burgtheater , directed by Claus Peymann . In the 2016/17 season he was seen at the Stadttheater Klagenfurt , for example as Mortimer in Maria Stuart and in the Austrian premiere of Wut by Elfriede Jelinek .

With the 2017/18 season he became a member of the ensemble at the Ulm Theater , where he performed in Apathic for Beginners by Jonas Hassen Khemiri , as NCO Stefan Dorsch in The Ridiculous Darkness , as Cardinal Bourchier in The Coronation of Richard III. by Hans Henny Jahnn and as Camille Chandebise in The Flea in the Ear by Georges Feydeau . In the 2018/19 season he worked there, among other things, in the world premiere of Rise and Fall of Uli H. - A German Wurstiade and played management consultant Frank Öllers in the stage version of Zeit der Kannibalen . In the 2019/20 season he celebrated there in November 2019 in charity - Everyone saves an African by Ingrid Lausund as Leo premiere.
