Ben Lemaire (born July 15, 1985 in Sedan ) is a French photographer , director , film producer , writer and blogger .

Life

His career began in 2005 as an agent.

Since 2003 he has been blogging weekly for the satirical blog Megaconnard. His articles have been commented on many times by well-known media. He also worked with Agoravox and Le Post before joining the music blog and production of Le Hiboo as a photographer and director. In 2009 he helped develop the French music portal Rock Me Up before developing Soul Kitchen as a reference for The Doors . In 2010 he sold his work to create Le Transistor, a French music blog and production company, in collaboration with French activist Agnès Bayou.

In 2006, as a student, he started his first production company called Act'ivia. In 2008 he founded the non-profit association Clap Avenir (Imag'in) to defend the rights of young artists. In 2016 he founded SocialTube to produce Youtubers and web content.

He received a radio show on Radio Neo for 2 years before joining Virgin Radio in 2013 .

As a director, he made around 300 music videos. He worked for Justin Bieber , Bruno Mars , Asaf Avidan , among others . In 2013 he shot his first feature film " Lilly Wood and The Prick au Trianon ", which was produced by Pathé .

As a press photographer he worked at Maxppp, Wostok Press and Virtuo Press. His work has been published in many media such as Le Monde , Liberation . In 2008 he joined Dalle Music Agency for his music images. He photographed around 1000 concerts and worked with music stars such as Patti Smith , Lady Gaga , Miley Cyrus and Rihanna .

Since 2016 he has been advising many French film stars on their digital communication, such as Sophie Marceau , Emmanuelle Béart , Juliette Binoche , JoeyStarr .
