Bergerhausen is a district of the Upper Swabian town of Mindelheim and part of the formerly independent municipality of Westernach .

history

After 1275, the rights of Bergerhausen passed from a Heinrich to the Augustinian monastery in Mindelheim . Otmar Mader bought the hamlet from them in 1454 . Since the Reichsdeputationshauptschluss the place belonged together with Doldenhausen to Westernach, with whom it was incorporated on January 1, 1976 to Mindelheim.
