The Bergische Panoramasteig is a long-distance hiking trail opened in 2013 in the Oberbergisches Land . It leads as a 244 km long circular hiking trail through the areas of the Oberberberg and Rheinisch-Bergisch districts . The path is uniformly marked by the Sauerland Mountain Association with a yellow sign and the name Bergischer Panoramasteig.
geography
The Bergische Panoramasteig leads from the Aggertal to Lindlar and on to the Great Dhünntalsperre . The hiking trail comes to Wipperfürth via Hückeswagen and Radevormwald . Past the Lingesetalsperre and Genkeltalsperre , the Panoramasteig leads to Marienheide and the Nutscheid . The last section of the route leads back through the Homburg countryside to the Agger .
The entire route can be divided into 12 hiking stages, the length of which varies between 16.4 km and 24.8 km: Ründeroth - Lindlar ; Lindlar - Biesfeld ; Biesfeld - Dhünn ; Dhünn - Radevormwald ; Radevormwald - Wipperfürth ; Wipperfürth - Marienheide ; Marienheide - Bergneustadt ; Bergneustadt - Wildbergerhütte ; Wildbergerhütte - Morsbach ; Morsbach - Waldbröl ; Waldbröl - Nümbrecht ; Nümbrecht - Ründeroth.
From October 21 to 23, 2016, the entire panorama trail was walked non-stop for the first time; the athlete Tim Fischer mastered the route in an ultra marathon in 55 hours and 50 minutes.
Connection routes
In the Dhünn and Waldbröl areas there is a connecting path to the Bergischer Weg, which is also new .
There is a connection to the Sauerland-Höhenflug between Marienheide and Bergneustadt .
