Berit Schwarz (born January 25, 1967 ) is a German journalist and presenter.

Life

Berit Schwarz grew up in Laboe on the Baltic Sea and graduated from Heinrich-Heine-Schule Heikendorf in 1986 with her Abitur. She then volunteered at Radio 107 in Hamburg from 1987 to 1988 and began studying educational science in 1989, parallel to freelance work for Radio 107 and other stations at the University of Hamburg (1989–1992). From 1990–1991 she hosted the youth program "Jetzt geht's" on NDR television together with Axel Bulthaupt . Then she switched to ZDF , where she hosted the talk show " Doppelpunkt " from 1992 to 1994 . She took over the show from Michael Steinbrecher and Barbara Stöckl .

From 1995 to 1997 she hosted the program "Offensive Interview" on DSF , in which prominent athletes were portrayed. Her guests included boxer Graciano Rocchigiani , racing driver Gerhard Berger , soccer coaches Christoph Daum and Winfried Schäfer as well as Bundesliga players at the time Oliver Bierhoff , Mehmet Scholl , Stefan Effenberg , Thomas Helmer , Thomas Strunz and Bruno Labbadia . In 1998 Berit Schwarz moderated the knowledge magazine " Planetopia " ( SAT.1 ). Then she shifted the focus of her work behind the camera and acted as editor, reporter and author. She worked for the programs "Galileo" (ProSieben), "Die Reporter" (ProSieben), "Aktu" (SAT.1) and various documentary soaps.

In 2009 she developed the TV format "Einsam unter Palmen", which has since been co-produced by the Berlin TV production Solis TV and infonetwork in a relaxed series and broadcast on RTL . Berit Schwarz is the head writer for this program.
