The Berliner Rugby Club e. V. , BRC for short , is a rugby club that was founded in 1926 in the Berlin district of Charlottenburg . The club's first team plays in the 1st Bundesliga (north / east relay).

history

The club was founded in Berlin Charlottenburg in 1926 and is a member of the Berlin Rugby Association . The club achieved the greatest success in the men's area in 1989 when it was able to advance to the final of the German championship, but lost it. In 1983 and 1988 the BRC lost the final for the DRV Cup . The first men's team plays in the north / east relay of the 1st Bundesliga, the second team in the 2nd Bundesliga (east relay) and the third team in the Regionalliga North / East. The club is characterized by intensive work with children and young people and is one of the few rugby clubs in Germany that can provide teams in all age groups.
