Bernadett Bognár-Bódi (born March 9, 1986 in Szeged , Hungary ) is a Hungarian handball player .

Career

Bognár-Bódi initially played for Szeged DKSE, Szeged KKSE and Agro SE Orosháza. She then joined Győri ETO KC . With Győri ETO KC she won the Hungarian championship in 2005 and 2006, and the Hungarian cup competition in 2005, 2006 and 2007. From 2007 the outside player was under contract with the Danish first division club Randers HK for two years . Then Bognár-Bódi played for the Hungarian first division club Békéscsabai Előre NKSE. In the summer of 2011, the left-hander moved to league rivals Siófok KC. In 2012 she joined Dunaújvárosi Kohász KA. A year later she returned to Győri ETO KC. With Győri ETO KC she won the championship in 2014, 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019, the Hungarian Cup in 2014, 2015, 2016, 2018 and 2019 and the EHF Champions League in 2014, 2017, 2018 and 2019 . For the 2020/21 season, she switched to Moyra-Budaörs handball .

Bernadett Bognár-Bódi has so far played 141 international matches for the Hungarian women's handball team , in which they scored 263 goals. With the Hungarian selection, she took part in the 2008 Olympic Games , the 2009 World Cup and the 2010 and 2012 European Championships .
