Bernd Feicke

Bernd Feicke (born January 3, 1950 in Lutherstadt Eisleben ; † February 6, 2016 in Quedlinburg ) was a German economist and regional historian .

Life

After graduating from the Martin Luther High School in Eisleben in 1968, Feicke studied business administration at the Technical University of Dresden until 1975 , where he received his PhD in 1976. oec. received his doctorate. From 1975 he held a responsible position at a control device manufacturer and from 1983 to 2002 in banking, most recently at Dresdner Bank in Wernigerode . Then he devoted himself mainly to his regional historical research.

Since 1997 Feicke was a member of the board of the Harz-Verein für Geschichte und Altertumskunde e. V., of which he was chairman from 2011 to 2014, from 1999 to 2014 he was co-editor of the Harz research and from 2002 to 2015 of the Harz magazine . He wrote several articles on personalities of the regional history of Saxony-Anhalt for the biographical-bibliographical church lexicon , was editor of the compendium Westerhäuser Heimatblätter between 1993 and 2015 and from 1995 scientific director of the Westerhäuser Museum Day in Westerhausen , which takes place every two years .
