Bernd Storz
Bernd Storz (born August 27, 1951 in Ravensburg ) is a German writer and author of poems , scripts , radio plays , novels and plays .
Career
Bernd Storz studied education, psychology and sociology at the Eberhard Karls University in Tübingen . First he worked as a qualified pedagogue at the psychological counseling center of the Esslingen district in Nürtingen and was managing director of the Hans Thoma-Gesellschaft - Kunstverein Reutlingen from 1990 to 2001. In 1983 he published his first volume of poems Flurschaden ; Numerous journalistic works on the subject of visual arts followed. From 1991 he wrote scripts for television series and radio plays, edited numerous art books and published essays on the work of visual artists such as Johannes Dörflinger , Robert Gernhardt , Raimer Jochims , Felix Klee , Werner Pokorny , Hanns Schimansky , Emil Schumacher and numerous others. After seminars in film dramaturgy with Thomas Jean Lehner , Keith Cunningham and Tom Schlesinger he worked from 2003 to 2014 as a trainer for script development at the film camp eV in Freiburg and Wiesbaden, a further training event of the medienakademie ARD.ZDF, the Hessian film funding and the film funding of the media and Film company Baden-Württemberg. Since 2001 he has lived as a freelance writer in Reutlingen and writes plays, radio plays, detective novels, poems and books on history. In addition, he is a guest lecturer for scenic storytelling and screenplay a. a. active at the universities of Freiburg, Konstanz, Mannheim, Stuttgart, Hildesheim and Tübingen. In 2014 he founded the Story-Camp eV with Andreas Kirchgäßner , an institution for the education and training of authors. He is a member of the Association of German Writers (VS), of the authors' group of German-language crime literature - Das Syndikat and of the Friedrich-Bödecker-Kreis Baden-Württemberg. His crime novels of the Francesca Molinari series are characterized by the selection of internationally known regional settings. For example, Quadratisch plays dead in the chocolate factory of the Ritter Sport company in Waldenbuch and in the Museum Ritter , murder in the outlet in the outlet city of Metzingen and the industrial espionage thriller The Wasp at the global automotive supplier ElringKlinger in Dettingen ad Erms. His psychological thriller A Deal á la Hitchcock was performed several times by stages in Germany and Switzerland.

Awards
As a poet, Storz was invited to the Literary March in Darmstadt in 1981 and 1985, and in 1987 he received the Zeit -zeichen literary prize for poetry from the Filderstadt Art Association; 1988 and 1998 scholarships from the Association of German Writers in Baden-Württemberg; 2002 working grant from the media and film company Baden-Württemberg; 2009 Screenplay funding for the feature film project The Little Secret - The Life of Berta Hummel (with Ulrich Knödler).
