Bernhard Kühnel
Bernhard Franz Kühnel Langer MSC (born December 4, 1927 in Ludwigsdorf , Kr. Neisse, Silesia) is the emeritus prelate of Caravelí .
Life
Bernhard Kühnel joined the religious order of the Sacred Heart Missionaries and was ordained a priest on August 6, 1955 .
Pope John Paul II appointed him Prelate of Caravelí on January 26, 1983 . The Archbishop of Ayacucho o Huamanga , Federico Richter Fernandez-Prada OFM , donated him episcopal ordination on April 27 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were Germán Schmitz Sauerborn MSC, auxiliary bishop in Lima , and Guido Breña López OP , emeritus bishop of Ica .
On June 18, 2005, Pope Benedict XVI. his age-related resignation.
