Bernser Landwehr

Bernser Landwehr is a small village in the valley of the Bückeburger Aue in the municipality of Auetal in the district of Schaumburg in Lower Saxony . It belongs to the district of Bernsen . It currently has a little over 100 residents.

history

This place used to belong to the independent municipality of Bernsen. This was incorporated into the neighboring community of Rolfshagen on March 1, 1974 . But on April 1, 1974, the new community Auetal was formed, to which Rolfshagen (with Bernsen and the Bernser Landwehr) now belonged.

politics

The representative in the Auetal municipal council is Torben Stemme, who is also the head of Bernsen.

Infrastructure

The village is 15 minutes by car from Rinteln and is therefore still very well connected to public life in Rinteln, but also in Rehren, where the motorway connection is located. There is a small football field for young people, which is also heavily used and from time to time the local administration is also brought into shape.
