Bernsen is one of the 16 districts of the municipality Auetal in the district of Schaumburg in Lower Saxony .

geography

The place is three kilometers southeast of Bad Eilsen . The A 2 runs immediately to the south . The nature reserve Kamm des Wesergebirge is located south of the village .

history

On December 1, 1910, the place had 363 inhabitants and belonged to the Rinteln district . On March 1, 1974, Bernsen was incorporated into the Rolfshagen community and on April 1, 1974 the new community was dissolved and assigned to the new community of Auetal.
