geography

The place is on the northeastern edge of the municipality east of the Bückeberg am Riesbach and on the county road K 62. The A 2 runs to the south-east and the state road L 443 to the west .

history

On December 1, 1910, the place had 135 inhabitants and belonged to the Rinteln district . On March 1, 1974, Wiersen was incorporated into the community of Schoholtensen and on April 1, 1974 the new community was dissolved and assigned to the new community of Auetal.
