Altenhagen is one of the 16 districts of the municipality Auetal in the district of Schaumburg in Lower Saxony .

The place is four kilometers northeast of Rehren and one kilometer southwest of Schoholtensen . The Bückeberge border to the northwest .

history

On December 1, 1910, the place had 122 inhabitants and belonged to the Rinteln district . On March 1, 1974, Altenhagen was incorporated into the community of Schoholtensen, and on April 1, 1974 the new community was dissolved and assigned to the new community of Auetal.
