Bertl Göttl

Bertl Göttl (born October 1, 1942 in Gmünd in Carinthia ) is an Austrian television and radio presenter and former politician ( ÖVP ) and agriculture teacher. From 1986 to 1991 he was regional councilor in the Salzburg regional government .

education and profession

Bertl Göttl was born in Carinthia and attended elementary school in Öblarn in Styria from 1948 to 1952 . In 1952 he switched to the secondary school in Radstadt which he graduated in 1956 and then began an agricultural apprenticeship in the economic administration of Schloss Gstatt in Öblarn. In 1958 he continued his education at the higher federal college for alpine agriculture in Raumberg-Trautenfels , in 1962 he passed the Matura . He then completed his military service in Salzburg between 1962 and 1963 and was then, with interruptions, a teacher at the Kleßheim Agricultural School from 1963 to 1998 . In addition, from 1974 to 1995 he worked as a freelancer for ORF Salzburg, also with interruptions . Since 1992 Göttl has also been a freelancer for Salzburger Nachrichten , where he writes a weekly column. From 1995 he also worked as a freelancer for the television broadcaster Salzburg TV , where he was active as a designer and presenter of the weekly program " Hoagascht " , a traditional magazine. The program Hoagascht was taken over in 2009 with Göttl as moderator from the television broadcaster ServusTV .

Politics and functions

Göttl was involved in the Salzburg People's Party from 1989 to 1991 as district party chairman of the People's Party in Flachgau and from January 8, 1986 to December 11, 1991, he was a member of the Salzburg state government as a regional councilor. His department included the areas of agriculture, homeland and customs, hunting and fishing as well as small monuments. From 1976 to 1996 Göttl played as “Josef” at the Salzburg Advent Singing .
