Bertrand Roiné (born February 17, 1981 in Sainte-Gemmes-d'Andigné , France ) is a handball player who first represented France and then Qatar internationally .

The 1.98 meter tall and 99 kilogram left back player was under contract with Chambéry Savoie HB from 2006 . Before that he played from 1987 to 1998 for Noyant-la-Gravoyère, from 1998 to 2004 for Angers Noyant HB and from 2004 to 2006 for Dunkerque HBGL. With Chambéry and Dunkerque he played in the EHF Cup (2004/2005, 2007/2008) and in the EHF Champions League (2006/2007, 2008/2009, 2009/2010).

Roiné later joined the Qatari club Lekhwiya Sports Club Doha . With Lekhwiya he won the championship in 2013.

Bertrand Roine was on the French national team , for example for the 2010 European handball championship . He made his senior team debut in 2005. He later took on Qatari citizenship. With the Qatari national team , he took part in the Asian Games in 2014 , where he and his team won the gold medal. He also took part in the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro . So far, Roiné has made 69 appearances for Qatar, scoring 158 goals.
