Besence is a Hungarian community in the county Sellye in Baranya .
Geographical location
Besence is a good nine kilometers northeast of the town of Sellye . Neighboring communities are Gilvánfa , Nagycsány and Csányoszró .
Attractions
- Reformed Church, built in 1882.
- In the municipality's territory there are two trees classified as protected natural monuments, both of which are over 130 years old and over 32 meters high: a narrow-leaved ash with a trunk circumference of 6.5 meters and an English oak with a trunk circumference of 3.3 meters.
