Drávaiványi ( Croatian Ivanidba ) is a Hungarian community in the county Sellye in Baranya .
Geographical location
Drávaiványi is four kilometers southwest of the town of Sellye and about five kilometers north of the border with Croatia . The neighboring municipality of Drávasztára is two and a half kilometers south.
history
Drávaiványi can look back on 700 years of local history; The first notifications of the village can be dated to the 14th century. In the middle of the 19th century the community had about 600 inhabitants, since then the population has been decreasing. The community is currently home to 200 residents.
