Bettina Weiguny (* 1970 in Freiburg im Breisgau ) is a German journalist and writer .

Live and act

Bettina Weiguny studied German and English in Munich , Göttingen and Newcastle . In 1996 she started a traineeship at the news magazine “ Focus ” in Munich and later worked in the Brussels office of “Focus”. Since 2001 she has published her column "The Balance Act" in the business section of the Frankfurter Allgemeine Sonntagszeitung , for which she works as a permanent freelancer . She also writes for Stern , Die Zeit , Brigitte and Focus.

She has written several books, including The Mysterious Men of C & A (2005) and Bionade - A Limo Changes the World (2008) and Bring the Million (2014). She is married, lives in Bad Soden am Taunus and has three children.
