Bhanpura ( Hindi : भानपुरा) is a city with about 20,000 inhabitants in the Mandsaur district in the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh .

Bhanpura is located in the extreme northeast of the Mandsaur district at an altitude of approx. 385 m above sea level. d. M. The city is approx. 115 km (driving distance) from Mandsaur; the metropolis of Kota in Rajasthan is about 100 km north. The climate is rather temperate by Indian standards; However, rain falls almost only in the summer monsoon season .
