Bheriganga ( Nepali भेरीगंगा ) is a city ( municipality ) in western Nepal in the Surkhet district .
The city was created in 2014 by amalgamating the Village Development Committees Chhinchu , Maintada and Ramghat . Bheriganga is located in the Inner Terai on the south bank of the Bheri River . The urban area covers 150.2 km².
The Ratna Rajmarg highway ( Nepalganj - Birendranagar ) runs through Bheriganga.
Residents
At the 2011 census, the VDCs, from which the city of Bheriganga emerged, had 32,511 inhabitants (14,708 male) in 7176 households.
