Bhojpur ( Nepali भोजपुर Bhojpur ) is a city (municipality) in eastern Nepal in the district of the same name .

The district administration is located in Bhojpur. The city was created in 2014 by amalgamating the Village Development Committees Bhaisipankha , Bhojpur , Bokhim and Taksar . The urban area covers 70.4 km². The highest point in the city is 1540 m above sea level. NHN.

The city has an airfield, the Bhojpur Airport .

Residents

At the 2011 census, the VDCs that made up the city of Bhojpur had 16,102 inhabitants (of which 7,522 were male) in 4,093 households.
