The Bill Duthie Booksellers' Choice Award is a Canadian literary award that has existed since 1985 and is part of the BC Book Prizes for the best book with regard to its public interest, its basic idea, design, production quality and content ("best book in terms of public appeal, initiative, design, production and content. In contrast to the other prizes of the BC Book Prices, the Bill Duthie Booksellers' Choice Award - as the name suggests - is not decided by a jury, but results from a vote of the book trade by placing a ballot from the bookstores in British Columbia Selects winner. To a certain extent, the price is shared between the publisher and the author. Like all other BC Book Price awards, it is honored annually at the Lieutenant Governor's BC Book Prize Gala in April.

The award honors the memory of publisher Bill Duthie, who founded Duthie's Books in 1957. The award is one of the original four categories of the BC Book Prizes and is originally BC Booksellers' Choice Award in the Honor of Bill Duthie . In 2010 it was decided to simplify the naming analogous to the other prices.
