The Filyos Çayı , also Yenice Irmağı , is a river to the Black Sea in northern Turkey .

The Filyos Çayı was called Billaios (Latinized Billaeus ) in ancient times . The river arises in the city of Karabük at the confluence of its two source rivers Araç Çayı (right) and Soğanlı Çayı (left). From there it cuts through the mountains of the West Pontic Mountains in a west-northwest direction and passes the town of Yenice . At Gökçebey the river leaves the mountains. It takes up the Devrek Çayı on the left and turns to the north. It still passes the city of Çaycuma and finally reaches the Black Sea east of the village of Filyos . The Filyos Çayı has a length of 228 km. Its catchment area covers 13,000 km².
