Abşeron won the league with the most points and wins in the history of the Birinci Divizionu, setting a record. Six weeks later, the association was dissolved due to insolvency. Sumqayıt PFK won the place in the Premyer Liqası by wild cart . Second promoted was Rəvan Baku FK .
