Brick factory
The street Am Ziegelfeld branches off in a semicircle to the west of Birkerhöhe . This name was justified in the minutes of the council of July 25, 1960 with the fact that a brick factory used to stand here that made bricks from weathered clay. The Urkataster leads at this point Won name on the fire , so the brick fire is meant. The bricks made here were used, among other things, to build Bensberg Castle .
