Neuenhaus is a district in the Moitzfeld district of Bergisch Gladbach .

history

Neuenhaus is mentioned as an early modern settlement in the tax, lease and tribute lists of the Bensberg tax authorities from 1487. In the original cadastre it appears to be west of the road from Bensberg to Herkenrath . The hamlet consisted of three farms, one of which was a feudal relationship with the Lerbach house , the Gladbach farm and the church in Herkenrath . The Milchborntal stretches from Neuenhaus to the west .
