course

The Birtbach arises from two source streams south of Auf dem Birt . It flows in a south-westerly direction between meadows and fields on its right and a wooded area on the left. After about 380 m it crosses the border from Belgium to Germany. After being strengthened from the right by a tributary, it crosses the border again, this time from Germany to Belgium, and finally flows northwest of Sankt Vith -Andler into the Our.
