The Bischbornbach is a right, periodic tributary of the Rechtenbach in the Main-Spessart district in the Bavarian Spessart .

The Bischbornbach rises from a small pond at the Bischborner Hof south-east of Neuhütten . It runs along federal highway 26 in an easterly direction, crosses it twice and reaches Rechtenbach . There it flows into a pipeline and flows underground at its source into the Rechtenbach .

The Bischbornbach only carries water on rainy days. It is often mistakenly viewed as the upper reaches of the Rechtenbach.
