The Roman Catholic Diocese of Bagdogra ( lat. : Dioecesis Bagdograna ) is in West Bengal in India situated Roman Catholic diocese based in Bagdogra . It covers part of the Darjeeling district .

history

Pope John Paul II founded it with the Apostolic Constitution Cunctae catholicae Ecclesiae on June 14, 1997 from cession of territory by the Diocese of Darjeeling and it was subordinated to the Archdiocese of Calcutta as a suffragan diocese.
