Titular diocese of Bardstown
Bardstown (lat. Bardensis ) is a titular bishopric of the Roman Catholic Church .
The diocese , located in the USA , was founded on April 8, 1808 from areas of the diocese of Baltimore and already abolished on February 13, 1841 and replaced by the diocese of Louisville . In 1821 , 1834 and 1837 there were large diocesan areas for the establishment of other dioceses. In 1995, Bardstown was added to the list of titular bishoprics.
