The Diocese of Fontibón ( lat. : Dioecesis Fontibonensis , span. : Diócesis de Fontibón ) is an in Colombia situated Roman Catholic diocese , based in the city of Bogotá belonging district Fontibón .

history

The diocese of Fontibón was established on August 6, 2003 by Pope John Paul II with the Apostolic Constitution Suam eminet from cessions of territory from the Archdiocese of Bogotá and subordinated to this as a suffragan diocese.
