The Diocese of Kitale ( lat. : Dioecesis Kitalensis ) is in Kenya situated Roman Catholic diocese based in Kitale . It includes the counties of Trans-Nzoia and West Pokot .

history

Pope John Paul II founded it with the Apostolic Constitution Magis in this on April 3, 1998 from cession of territory by the Diocese of Eldoret and it was subordinated to the Archdiocese of Kisumu as a suffragan diocese. The local ordinary Maurice Anthony Crowley has been the SPS since its inception .
