The Diocese of Masbate ( lat. : Dioecesis Masbatensis ) is the Philippines located Roman Catholic diocese based in Masbate City . It includes the Masbate Province .

history

Pope Paul VI founded it with the Apostolic Constitution Sorsogonensis dioecesis curatio on March 23, 1968 from cession of territory by the Diocese of Sorsogon and it was subordinated to the Archdiocese of Caceres as a Suffragan Diocese .
