José Bantolo
José Salmorin Bantolo (born November 12, 1960 in Guisijan , Antique , Philippines ) is Bishop of Masbate .
Life
Jose Bantolo was born on August 3, 1985 by the Archbishop of Manila , Jaime Cardinal Sin Lachica , the deacon ordained. On April 21, 1986 he received the sacrament of ordination through the Bishop of San Jose de Antique, Raul José Quimpo Martirez, and was incardinated in the clergy of the Diocese of San Jose de Antique .
On June 15, 2011 Pope Benedict XVI appointed him . to the bishop of Masbate. The Archbishop of Jaro , Angel Lagdameo , ordained him as a bishop on August 22nd of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the Bishop of San Jose de Antique, Jose Romeo Orquejo Lazo , and the Bishop Emeritus of San Jose de Antique, Raul José Quimpo Martirez. The inauguration took place on September 6, 2011.
