The Bistum Morombe ( lat. : Dioecesis Morombensis ) is in Madagascar preferred Roman Catholic diocese based in Morombe .

history

The diocese of Morombe was on April 25, 1960 by Pope John XXIII. Established with the Apostolic Constitution Africae gentes from cessions of territory of the Diocese of Morondava and subordinated to the Archdiocese of Fianarantsoa as a suffragan . On December 3, 2003, the diocese of Morombe was subordinated to the Archdiocese of Toliara as a suffragan.
