The Bistum Mymensingh ( lat. : Dioecesis Mymensinghensis ) is an in Bangladesh preferred Roman Catholic diocese based in Mymensingh . It includes municipalities of the divisions Dhaka and Mymensingh : Mymensingh, Jamalpur, Kishorganj, Netrokona, Sherpur and Tangail.

history

Pope John Paul II founded it with the Apostolic Constitution Ex quo superno on May 15, 1987 from cessions of territory from the Archdiocese of Dhaka , to which it was also subordinated as a suffragan diocese.
