The Diocese of San Jose ( lat. : Dioecesis Sancti Iosephi in Insulis Philippinis ) is the Philippines located Roman Catholic diocese , based in San Jose .
history
The diocese of San Jose was established on February 16, 1984 by Pope John Paul II with the Apostolic Constitution Saepe catholicorum from cession of the diocese of Cabanatuan and subordinated to the Archdiocese of Lingayen-Dagupan as a suffragan .
It covers the northern part of the Nueva Ecija province .
