The Diocese of Cabanatuan ( lat. : Dioecesis Cabanatuanensis ) is the Philippines located Roman Catholic diocese based in Cabanatuan .
history
The diocese Cabanatuan was on February 16, 1963 by Pope John XXIII. built with the Apostolic Constitution Exterior Ecclesiae from cessions of territory of the Archdiocese of Lingayen-Dagupan and subordinated to this as a suffragan . On February 16, 1984, the Diocese of Cabanatuan gave parts of its territory to establish the Diocese of San Jose .
The Cabanatuan diocese includes the province of Nueva Ecija .
In 2017/18 several Catholic priests were murdered in Nueva Ecija .
