The diocese Simdega ( lat. : Dioecesis Simdegaensis ) is in India situated Roman Catholic diocese based in Simdega .
history
The diocese of Simdega was established on May 28, 1993 by Pope John Paul II with the Apostolic Constitution Pro Nostro from cessions of territory from the Archdiocese of Ranchi and subordinated to this as a suffragan diocese.
