Adalberto Albertini
Adalberto Albertini (also Bitto Albertini , born July 24, 1924 in Turin , † February 22, 1999 in Zagarolo ) was an Italian cameraman and film director .
Life
Albertini came to film at the age of eighteen and began as a camera assistant, from 1946 as a camera assistant and two years later got the first opportunity to work as a cameraman. From 1948 to 1966 he photographed around 70 films, including many dramas , adventure films and peplums . His sense of visual effects was noticeable, for example. B. Hercules, the horror of the Huns or David and Goliath .
In the mid-1960s he switched to directing, never producing more than entertaining commercial goods in various genres, with topics mostly tailored to young audiences and a low budget. In the mid-1970s he switched to the soft erotic genre and shot some Emanuelle epigones (often under the pseudonym Albert Thomas ). Many of his films were re-released as videos under adventurous titles all over the world.
His other pseudonyms include Al Albert , Albert J. Walker , Stanley Mitchell, and Ben Norman .
