Bjorn Bolling

Björn Bolling (* 1936 ) is a Swedish former football coach . He is particularly known as the author of various specialist publications in Sweden.

Career

Bolling played as a goalkeeper for AIK in the 1950s , but did not get beyond the reserve team. In the early 1970s he took over the coaching position at Älvsjö AIK , which he looked after in the second division. In 1975 he moved to Hammarby IF in the Allsvenskan . The long-standing elevator team established itself under his leadership in the top division. With the team around Kenneth Ohlsson , Jan Sjöström , Mats Werner and Billy Ohlsson , he reached the final of the national cup in 1977 . Against Östers IF , however, the game was lost with a 0-1 defeat. After three seasons he left the club and handed over the coaching position to the former player Tom Turesson . Later he was trainer Gefle IF and in 1985 again responsible for a season for the competition team of Hammarby IF.

Bollings published in particular on the didactics of ball play. In addition, he wrote some general writings, but also books on specific sports. Individual books are part of the basic literature at the Gymnastik- och idrottshögskolan .
