Bjorn Bonn

Björn Bonn (* 1978 in Essen , North Rhine-Westphalia ) is a German actor .

Life

Björn Bonn completed his acting studies at the Folkwang University of the Arts (Essen / Bochum ) from 2000 to 2004 , which he graduated with a diploma. He had his first theater engagement in his beginner year at the Landestheater Tübingen .

In 2005 he moved to the Heidelberg Theater under director Peter Spuhler , of which he was a permanent member until 2008. There he played, among others, Lyngstrand in Die Frau vom Meer (Director: Anna Bergmann ), Roller in Die Räuber (Director: Martin Nimz ), the Brad Majors in the musical Rocky Horror Show (Director: Andreas Nathusius ) and, also under the direction by Martin Nimz, the title role in Büchner'schen Woyzeck .

In 2008 he went to the Staatstheater Kassel as a permanent member of the ensemble , where he played roles such as Melchior Gabor in Spring Awakening (Director: Sebastian Schug ), Torquato Tasso (Director: Gustav Rueb ), Jimmy Porter in Blick zurück im Zorn (Director: Maik Priebe ) , Kostja in Die Möwe (director: Volker Schmalöer ) and Leonce in Leonce and Lena (director: Thomas Bockelmann ).

He has been a freelance actor since 2014. In 2014 he was a guest at the Lübeck Theater . In 2015 and 2016 he performed at the Bad Hersfeld Festival ; he played the Nazi Ernst Ludwig in the musical Cabaret . In 2015 he also took on a role as a policeman in Shakespeare's comedy of errors as a substitute for fellow actor Stefan Reck . In 2017 he was a guest at the Berlin Vaganten stage .

Bonn also completed a dubbing and microphone course at the Academy for Professional Spoken with Katharina Koschny and has also been working as a dubbing actor since 2015 .

On television he had episode roles a. a. in Alpha Team - Die Lebensretter im OP (2005; as a former ship officer and patient Helge Reuter), Lindenstrasse (2007; as an emergency doctor ) and in the ARD series Hubert and Staller (2016; as Kilian Weißenbacher, the brother of the murder victim). In October 2017 he was seen in the ZDF television series Inga Lindström in the television film The Post Boat in the Archipelago in a supporting role; he played the young country doctor Mats. In the 16th season of the ZDF series SOKO Wismar (2020) he took on one of the leading roles in the episode as the suspect client Hannes Werth. In the 6th season of the ZDF series Bettys Diagnose (2020), Bonn had one of the main episode roles as the companion of a "dry" alcoholic who does not want to admit his own alcohol problem.

Björn Bonn has lived in Berlin since 2014 ; In early 2015 he became the father of a daughter.
