The MUSC Health Stadium is a soccer stadium in the US city ​​of Charleston , South Carolina .

history

Blackbaud Stadium, which opened in 1999, is home to the Charleston Battery , a football franchise of the United Soccer League , and can hold 5,100 spectators. The stadium is named after the software company Blackbaud, whose company headquarters are located directly at the stadium.

In 2008, a solar power system was installed on the area behind the gate at the northern end of the stadium .

On July 30, 2015, the naming rights were sold to the Medical University of South Carolina.

International matches

So far, the United States women's national soccer team has played five international matches in Charleston between 2000 and 2009.
