The Blacklegs Creek is a 15 miles long right tributary of the Kiskiminetas River in Indiana County in the southwest of the US state Pennsylvania . It is the largest tributary of the Kiskiminetas River and drains an area of around 118 square kilometers, 88% of which is in Indiana County and 12% in Armstrong County .

The river has its source in Armstrong Township south of Shelocta on Pennsylvania State Route 3022 . It mostly flows in a south-westerly direction through a wooded and uninhabited valley and passes Clarksburg , the only settlement on the river. A little later, the Blacklegs Creek flows into the Kiskiminetas River near Saltsburg . The most important tributaries are the Whiskey Run and the Big Run .
