The Blankenbach is a left tributary of the Kahl in the district of Aschaffenburg in the Bavarian Spessart .

Surname

Originally, Blankenbach means something like blinking brook . The stream gave its name to the community of the same name.

The Blankenbach rises in Fallborn , between Eichenberg and Blankenbach . It runs through a gorge in a north-westerly direction to Kleinblankenbach . In front of the sports field, it flows into piping that crosses under the 2305 state road . It flows into the Kahl below the Kahlbrücke, opposite the stop on the Kahl – Schöllkrippen railway line .
