Bluenose Squash Classic 2014

The Bluenose Squash Classic 2014 took place from October 29th to November 1st 2014 in Halifax , Canada . The men's squash tournament was part of the PSA World Tour 2014/15 and belonged to the International 50 category .

The defending champion was Miguel Ángel Rodríguez , who also reached the final this year. In this he was defeated by Peter Barker , who won the game with 11: 6, 11: 7 and 11: 8.

The field of participants in the men's competition consisted of 16 players, four of which were starting places for qualifiers. The eight best players were seeded. Per Wildcard received Andrew Quick a spot in the main draw.

Prize money and world ranking points

At the tournament, the following prize money and world ranking points were paid out or credited for reaching the respective round. Players who entered the main field from qualification received the specified qualification points in addition to those for reaching the respective round. Otherwise the amounts are not to be understood as cumulative. The total prize pool was $ 50,000.
